Couserando invites you on an easy-to-moderate hike on the trail of the mythical animals that inhabit the forests of the Ariège Pyrenees: Capercaillie, Black Woodpecker, Brown Bear, Deer... We'll look for clues to their presence (footprints, feces, nests, meal remains...) and learn more about the mountain forest.

Additional Info:
For a summer day hike, each person must bring :
- Hiking shoes, preferably high-top and previously used
- Hiking pants or shorts
- T-shirt or shirt (preferably breathable)
- Sweater or fleece
- Rain gear (K-way, Gore-tex jacket, poncho, etc.)
- Backpack (20-30 L, not exceeding 4-6 kg)
- 1.5 liters of water minimum
- Picnic and snacks (e.g. cereal bar, dried fruit, etc.)
- Sun protection: cap or hat, sunglasses, sunscreen.
