Étang de Guzet by the Ars waterfall

This day's hike will take you to the pretty Etang de Guzet via the sumptuous Ars waterfall, one of the most beautiful natural sites in Ariège. A great walk that blossoms in the high mountains of Aulus, a route shaded by beech and fir trees.

0.00 A Follow the road towards Col de Latrappe after
200 m. take the track at the bend in the pass.
0.05 B Follow it and at the junction
0.20 C Leave the main track (which goes towards the Fouillet valley) to continue straight on towards the Ars waterfall.
0.55 D Pont d'Artigous: follow the small mountain path that leads to the waterfall.
1.45 E Pied de la grande cascade continue along the GR
2.30 F Passerelle d'Ars: continue along the GR to the right
towards Etang de Guzet
3.30 G Etang on your left, hidden in the trees,
continue straight on the GR until you reach
4.10 H Plateau de Souliou: turn left on the GR towards the
