Stone mountain gîte in an old 19th-century sheepfold, renovated with home-made furniture. Its country style (wood, slate, stone) creates a warm atmosphere. It is situated on the banks of a river in the middle of a small, quiet and isolated hamlet in the Parc Naturel Régional des Pyrénées Ariégeoises. The predominance of wood reinforces the authentic atmosphere of the estate, and the river Orle, which flows through this 4-hectare area of tranquil nature, is ideal for relaxation and fishing. Depending on the season, the estate is looked after by part of the herd of Mérens and Castillonnais horses, including the beautiful Castillonnais stallion "Vé t'Aqui d'Autet", supreme champion of the breed in 2012. In the background: the Mail de Bulard 2754m evokes the past. It's the perfect place for nature lovers to get away from it all: hiking, snowshoeing, observation, lazing about, contemplation, mountain biking, local crafts, fauna, flora and a soothing panorama.
