In collaboration with the Fondazione d'Albese (Italy), it has organized an annual Cyclosportive since 1996, where riders from all over France and abroad come together in remembrance and solidarity, to remember Fabio Casartelli.
For the 29th edition of La Casartelli, on Sunday September 7, 2025, we, the organizers of La Casartelli, offer you our cyclosportive and its three routes, which is intended to be an exceptional event. A day of effort and celebration, dedicated to the memory of Fabio Casartelli, but also a beacon of hope in a society sometimes in need of landmarks and guides... and we know how much sport can, sometimes - often even - have a marvellous unifying role. It is with this sole intention that the La Casartelli organizing committee, local authorities and partners welcome you, participants and companions, for a sporting and convivial stay in the heart of our mountains.
New edition with 3 new routes in the Couserans and its famous passes and the Haute Garonne with the Portet d'Aspet pass in sublime landscapes: Parcours la Casartelli : 147.00 kms - 2812 MD+ Parcours la Découverte : 127.00 kms - 2195 MD+ Parcours la Marco (VAE) et Marco VAE : 87. 00 kms - 1409 MD+ During this day of cycling festivities, the whole team of volunteers will be at your service to ensure the best possible welcome, safety on the roads, comfort after the effort (showers) and a gourmet meal, served at the table and prepared with local and seasonal products.
