It researches, organizes, promotes and recognizes the Pilgrim's Way to Santiago in Ariège. It organizes walks to raise awareness of the Way of St. James, and offers meetings for pilgrims.
It plays an active part in the activities of associations along the Piedmont route.
On their website, you will find all the information you need to prepare your walk on this part of the pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela.
the association sends anyone who requests it by e-mail a list of accommodation on the Chemin du Piemont from Carcassonne to Oloron Ste Marie (where the path joins the Route d'Arles).
It manages the Saint-Jacques halt at Saint-Lizier; bookings can be made through the Couserans Pyrénées Tourist Office.
